A triathlon consists of three disciplines; swim, bike and run, usually in that order. MultiRace hosts a variety of Sprint and International Triathlons throughout Florida annually. We pride ourselves in hosting the longest standing Half Iron distance triathlon in South Florida, Miami Man. All of our events are USAT sanctioned and use our signature timing system. View results on Samsung TV monitors after you cross the finish line and take home your results receipt once you return your timing chip.

A duathlon consists of two disciplines; run, bike and run. MultiRace offers duathlon races at every triathlon we produce. No other multi-sport production company matches our dedication to the sport of duathlons. MultiRace has been the sole provider of Half Iron distance duathlons in South Florida for over ten years. As with our triathlon events, our duathlons are USAT sanctioned and use our signature timing system. View results on Samsung TV monitors after you cross the finish line and take home your results receipt once you return your timing chip.

MultiRace is happy to bring back both of our Half Marathon & 10K events (Singer Island Half Marathon & 10K and the Key Biscayne Half Marathon & 10K) for the 2016 event calendar. Our goal is to encourage beginners and experienced runners alike to challenge themselves and exceed their personal best. As with our triathlon and duathlon events, our running events are professionally produced using advanced timing technology.  View results on Samsung TV monitors after you cross the finish line and take home your results receipt once you return your timing chip.

MultiRace can time your event! Our team of USAT certified race directors can meet with you to advise on how MultiRace can take your event to the next level. Our registration, timing and scoring system is a one-stop shop solution so you can relax and enjoy race day. Email us to find out how your organization can benefit from our services.

Adam Ciperski

Looking to fill a void from my college football days, I started triathlon 8 years ago and never
looked back. My initial focus was getting fit and dropping weight after donating my kidney to
my brother. Now, I’m a 3x Ironman and have completed 12 70.3s. I broke my hip and collar
bone in a training accident in 2017 causing me to miss Ironman Lake Placid. My goal this year is
to race Ironman Lake Place. I live in Cutler Bay with my wife Carla and our two children Theo
and Sofia. Besides frequent work travel, you can find me supporting my children at musicals,
plays or swim meets.

I was told this wasn’t for me because my pace, swim and size.. I was told to quit, but I do this for me and the pleasure it makes me feel even thought I get tired or scared and get the feeling I can’t... I do it for the people I have had the pleasure to meet and the places it has taken me to. For the fun, for the people who believes in me and supports me and the people I decided to surround with... but I also do it for you, to show you that you can do it, you can enjoy it and to remind you: you’re you own rival, there’s not limits, there isn´t  age, there’s not sizes..there’s nothing else but you and all the fun and laughs that are waiting for you out there

Scuba diving brought me to Florida were I competed in triathlon for a brief time until scuba diving became a priority. I am now a Firefighter for Monroe County Fire Rescue, and part time scuba instructor. I returned to triathlon at the Miami Man Speedway 2015. It was supposed to be a one time return to triathlon but the event was such a positive experience that I continued with five more events in 2015 and six events in 2016. In the future I want to continue to compete but would like to contribute to the sport through coaching as well. HAPPY RACING!!!Some of my most recent accomplishments have been to to Qualify for the 2018 Multisport World Championships in Long Distance Triathlon. I used to hate running when I was younger, but once I was introduced to triathlon, I absolutely fell in love. There’s something about triathlon that makes me keep wanting to strive for new distances and new PRs. I’ve completed multiple 5ks, a 10k, half marathon, duathlon, and sprint triathlon. This season I plan on going the extra mile in the Olympic distance and hope to some day compete in an Ironman. Happy Racing!!

Maria "Tutu" Galleguillo

My name is Maria aka Tutu. I was born in Argentina living most of my life here in Miami. I have learned while working in the medical field and fitness industry to NEVER GIVE UP AND HELP AND MOTIVATE; It all begins with taking care of yourself first firstly because there’s always some watching and you never know how inspiring can be your lifestyle and how motivating consistency and discipline can be and be the change in somebody’s life.

Coming from an active childhood in athletics, gymnascs, figure skating, martial arts and basketball then dance and body building in my adult teens, I took sabbatical for years due motherhood, then I returned and fund raised for 5ks for cancer fight. When coworkers dared me to participate on my first 13.1finished it with an unbelievable time for a newbie. Then I was challenged to complete a 26.2, this was an accomplishment to me . With that peer pressure we crossed many finish lines; I was able to conquer Spartan Obstacle Course Races with my son. Then my working family introduced me to the TRI World where I found my tribe while racing and volunteering. Multirace has been a witness of the cornerstone of the unstoppable when I finished my first 70.3 Miami Man in 2013.

My motto is “get out and shine, do your best, achieve everything you believe and put your power on. Be humble to learn and kind to others. In the school of life we constantly learning as people and athletes”

It’s my pleasure and privilege to be a Multirace Ambassador.

of the SoMo Running Festival the last couple of years. You can find her working at Lazy Dog Adventures in Key West with her rescue dog, Leia.

Justin Higgs

My name is Justin Higgs and I am a 24 year old amateur triathlete from Nassau, Bahamas. I grew up playing many sports such as soccer, baseball, track and field, softball, and tennis. After playing these sports throughout the entirety of high school, I decided to focus solely on tennis where I went on to play NCAA Division 1 tennis for two years at Longwood University. As human beings, we all tend to go through both good and bad times. Throughout various moments in my life, I have found myself in low places and sometimes asked myself, “What can I do to improve my mental state?” However, after doing research when I was 22 years old, I learned that simply going for a run was a great way to release endorphins . While growing up, no matter what sport I played I always dreaded doing long distance training due to the immense pain I felt. Therefore, I always tried my best to avoid it as much as I could. Despite feeling the pain of having to run two miles I felt much better mentally, and with that my perspective on endurance sports began to change.

I am confident that my potential is limitless. Although training can be painful at times, I enjoy it because I receive a huge thrill from watching as my times improve continuously. Throughout 2019, I plan on traveling to compete and continuing to gain the necessary experience in order to be successful in this sport

After that first race, I was hooked. Our family loves hiking, rock climbing, gardening and being active.

I received a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Vocal Performance and Ministry.
Some of my most recent accomplishments have been to to Qualify for the 2018 Multisport World Championships in Long Distance Triathlon. To participate on Team USA and compete in the 2017 World Championships in Penticton, Canada in Long Distance Triathlon. I delivered the invocation at the 2017 Eco Boost  NASCAR Championships at the Homestead/Miami Speedway
I was the Emcee at the 2017 Orange Bowl Prayer Breakfast.

Vicky Hopper

Originally from Cambridge, England now living is St Petersburg, Florida.  On a training run one day I twisted my knee badly and switched to walking for rehab and just stuck with it.  I didn't think I would be 'good or fast enough' for racing as a walker. As a walker I have completed several 5k/10k, half marathons, one 70.3 MiamiMan and 3 marathons with the third and final being in Chicago 2017.  I found triathlon and duathlon and love them.  I am not the fastest.  I have been DFL before.  I race against myself to try and be better than before. I have raced MultiRace events.   I am goofy and fun loving and you will most likely hear me before you will see me when volunteering. I love to cheer on others.  Glad to be a part of this team.  Look forward to seeing you out there.

Oscar Mendoza

I'm Oscar Mendoza professional in sports science, CEO and Head Coach in Power w Training, Triathlete and Duathleta for over 20 years, but Duathlon is my main sport.
